Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are you a Special Needs School?
No, we are not a special needs school, however we have a certain capacity to support some individuals with special education needs (SEN) students in our school depending on whether we can support those needs. We have a set based annual quota of children with additional needs that we can consider. This number fluctuates depending on the overall number of students in a year group and in the school. Whilst we have a waitlist for SEN students, we will not allow trial days for new SEN students to take place, as we are unable to guarantee when a placement will be available.
  • Do we, as parents or guardians, have to pay a deposit?
Yes, there is a deposit which can be discussed with our admissions office at the time of application.
  • Do you offer Extracurricular Activities and will you consider introducing special interest activities if my child has a particular interest?
Yes, we run a comprehensive Extracurricular Curricular Activity (ECA) schedule and are always introducing new and exciting activities that our students have shown an interest in or requested us to implement. As long as there is enough interest from other students to justify the activity, we will most certainly support our students' interests.
  • What are the school hours?
Our School hours are from 09:20am - 14:30pm. If children participate in ECA these run from 14:40 - 15:40
  • Do you operate an after school supervision programme?
We run an after school club which incorporates free time as well as supervised time to work and get assistance from teachers on duty. This operates until 4:30pm everyday and is an additional fee.
  • Are meals provided at school?
Yes, we have an in-house catering company that prepares fresh and well-balanced meals for all our students. Students are provided with a snack mid-morning, and a nutritious meal at lunch. Our catering team are happy to work with any family who has a child with any specific food avoidance or allergies. Special arrangements can be made with the school if you would prefer to send your child's meals separately. It must be noted that we are a beef, pork and nut free school, and we try to encourage healthy food choices by discouraging high sugar foods and drinks to be brought to and consumed at school.
