English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Our EAL programme provides targeted support for students who need to improve their English language skills. This programme is crucial for helping non-native speakers achieve academic success and fully integrate into the school community and the British National Curriculum.

  • Partnership with Learning Lab: We collaborate with Learning Lab to offer specialised instruction tailored to each student's needs. This partnership allows us to modify the programme in real-time, ensuring it suits each student's individual pace.

  • Skill Development: Focus on enhancing reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through class activities, written tasks, presentations, and periodic assessments. This regular monitoring helps track progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.

  • Integration Support: Helps students confidently participate in mainstream classes and school activities, facilitating their smooth integration into the British National Curriculum.

Counselling Services

Our counselling services are dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of our students. We provide a confidential and supportive environment where students can seek help for a variety of issues.

  • Experienced Counsellors: Our counsellors are trained to assist students with a wide range of concerns.

  • Holistic Support: Addresses academic, social, and personal issues.

  • Confidentiality: Ensures students feel safe and respected.

  • Proactive Approach: Encourages students to seek help early and develop positive coping strategies.

Play Therapy

Play therapy offers a unique approach to help students explore and understand their emotions. This method is especially effective for younger children who may struggle with traditional forms of therapy.

  • Experienced Therapists: Professional therapists trained in play-based techniques.

  • Safe Environment: Provides a secure space for children to express themselves.

  • Emotional Exploration: Helps children process emotions and develop healthier behaviours.

  • Supportive Interaction: Encourages positive interactions between the child and therapist.
